1 Question from Dr. Noor Raihani Zainol 1. Unit of analysis are cyberpreneurship, business owners and business managers. Does business owners and managers involve in cyberpreneurship? 2. How do you differentiate between cyberpreneur, business owners n business managers?
Answer from presenter Thank you for your questions. Following are our answers. 1. Cyberpreneurship focuses on digital business ventures, business owners and managers can be involved in various types of businesses, including traditional businesses, service-based enterprises, and online ventures. In some cases, business owners and managers may also be engaged in cyberpreneurship activities, meaning they operate or manage businesses that leverage digital technologies and online platforms to conduct their operations. 2. Differentiating between cyberpreneurs, business owners, and business managers in the context of purposive sampling involves identifying specific characteristics or criteria for each category and intentionally selecting participants who meet those criteria. Example: The researcher would intentionally target individuals who fit the defined criteria for cyberpreneurs by reaching out to online communities of entrepreneurs, tech-savvy individuals, or those known for their successful digital ventures. However, in some cases, individuals may hold multiple roles, such as being both a cyberpreneur and a business owner, or a business owner also serving as a business manager.
